Subaru hitches are engineered and crash tested to the same rigorous safety standards as the rest of the Forester. Heavy-duty 2-inch receiver rated at 1,500 lbs. maximum towing capacity, 150 lbs. tongue weight. Trailer Hitch for Forester Wilderness rated at 3,000 lbs. towing capacity, 300 lbs. tongue weight. Requires hitch and harness for proper operation and safety compliance. Hitch ball not included. Ball Mount sold separately. Trailer brakes may be required by your state for heavier loads. Consult owner's manual for more information.
